Sunday Readings
The Prayer Book gives us a set of Scripture readings as well as a Collect, a special prayer for the day, for every Sunday of the year as well as the various Holy Days we celebrate. In most cases the readings include lessons from the Old Testament, from one of the four Gospels, and from one of the New Testament Epistles, as well as a Psalm. You can find these lessons by following the links below. With the exception of the Psalms, the Bible version used is the English Standard Version. The Psalms are taken from The Liturgical Psalter.
